Welcome to Jess's personal Web site.

As many of you know Jess is semi-retired and remains active with startup projects and volunteering.

Jess is the Founder and Executive Director of Homeless with Housing Foundation www.homelesswithhousing.org.

He has an very interesting background; he has been called the Forest Gump of the computer revolution. He was mentored by several of the creators of the revolution including Ted Hoff, inventor of the microprocessor @ Intel, Alan Kay, inventor of the point and click interface @ Xerox PARC, and Tom Stockham, digital recording pioneer, Father of Digital Audio. He was at Commodore for the introduction of the C-64 and was invited by IBM to the original PC introduction. It seems he has worked everywhere including NASA, Atari, Intel and Rockwell.

He actively participated in birth and growth of the Internet contributing to networking and eMail standards. While at Atari Corporate Research Jess and the fresh from MIT legend Hacker Jack utilized a spare Zilog minicomputer Jess had in his cubicle to put up an ARPAnet node, (predecessor to the Internet) in 1981. In 1992 Jess was a contributor and founding member of the WinSOCK committee. He was ICL's representative to the EMA, (Electronic Mail Association), the group responsible for most of today's email protocols.

He is also a full time single Dad who home schools two of the greatest sweetest kids anywhere David Harley 11 and Thomas Lynn 10.

After living and traveling all over the world for many years Jess and his boys now live, work, travel and home school in
